Being hard stuck in low ranks is not fun, but that doesn’t have to be the case. Maybe you just don’t have the time to really learn the mechanics of the game. Sure, you might already have the skills to beat your lane opponent, but your enemy laner still finds a way to come back into the game. Or as a jungler, you might be able to affect the map in a much more impactful way than the enemy jungler, yet it doesn’t translate to consistent wins. If this is the problem you’re having, the problem might not be in your execution, but your decision making. That’s where a League coach can really make an impact. They can come in and give you advice on what you should be focusing on at what time in the game. This way, you’ll play with the right objective in mind, and you can push for victories much more effectively than if you were to chase mindlessly for kills.
When Do I Need a Coach?
Getting coaching is usually a good idea if you have been stuck around the same tier for at least 100 games. Regardless if you ultimately decide that you may need some coaching in your life it is still a good idea to personally review your replays and look for mistakes. You would be surprised at how many things you will notice in replays that you didn’t realize while playing because you were trying to concentrate on the game. Many websites to choose from and many options out there for LOL Coaching.
It’s a good idea to get a coach if you’ve already had some experience with the game. You will understand what your coach is saying
Which Coach Do I Choose?
The most important thing to consider when choosing a coach is their main. If you’re a mid lane main, you want to work with a professional mid laner coach. We’re not saying that a support player can’t play mid, because a Diamond 1 support main is most definitely better than a Silver 2 mid laner. If you want to be the best, you need to learn from the best. There might be something about playing mid that a support coach might not know about, like the matchup advantage or when and how to move around the map.
You also need to consider the personality of your coach as well. If you prefer a blunt and critical coach, you might be annoyed with a coach that tries to sugar coat things for you all the time.
How Much Does a Leauge Coach Cost?
Depending on the skill level, fame, and the niche of the coach, their cost will vary drastically. You can find a coach who will charge you only $10 per session to one that will charge you hundreds of dollars per game. The higher ranked, and the more skilled your coach is, the more they will cost.
